ENTER THE OASIS OF PEACE IN THE LEVOČA MOUNTAINS (LEVOČSKÉ VRCHY) VIA THE “VALLEY”

The RESORT OF LEVOČSKÁ DOLINA is a year-round resort, located in the village of Levočská Dolina, which is the gateway to the beautiful nature of the Levoča Mountains. The historical center of Levoča is only 7 km away, and it is 10 km to the Slovak Paradise National Park. The surrounding area is interwoven with more than 200 km of marked cycling routes.

The Resort of Levočská Dolina offers a wide range of activities throughout the year, in summer cycling and swimming prevail, and skiing in winter. In addition to accommodation, it has a restaurant, relax center (indoor pool, saunas, massage, gym), and a bowling bar. Guests can play billiards, or use a gazebo for various get-togethers, barbecues and cooking goulash.

The facility has several premises suitable for weddings, family celebrations, trainings, congresses or team-building, but also for organized school trips, or ski courses for primary and secondary schools.

WE ARE “ECO”

In the summer, visitors can use the Natural swimming pool and try fishing. The Natural swimming pool in the Resort Levočská Dolina is the first of its kind in the Spiš region. The premises of the natural swimming pool consists of three water areas: a natural swimming pool (with a capacity of 1750 m³, a depth for non-swimmers up to 90 cm, a depth for swimmers up to 220 cm), a water purification area and a tank designed for fishing (e.g. of rainbow trout). There are no chemicals used to purify the water in the pool; the water is purified naturally by means of the plant root system and by filtration through little stones and gravel. You can try fishing and the tasty fish you catch will be roasted in a couple of minutes. Due to the great interest, it is sometimes necessary to wait a bit. But this does not matter, because you can spend the waiting time by renting a mountain bike or an e-bike and taking a ride around the area.

THE WOODEN LOG CABINS SMELL LIKE THE FOREST

Accommodation is available in the Pension SKI (directly under the ski slope) and in log cabins (Polianka, Romančina, Skalka). Each room has its own bathroom and WIFI access, some rooms also have a balcony. There are also comfortably furnished apartments in the log cabins.

UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE IS ONLY A COUPLE OF STEPS AWAY

Levoča – a sparkling gem in the Spiš region is a historic town that has something to offer to every visitor. A number of centuries-old monuments, or the works of Master Paul, shine not only in the Spiš region, but also on the UNESCO World Heritage Map. In the Basilica Minor of St. James you can find the highest Gothic altar in the world with a height of 18.62 meters. The original town walls with bastions and entrance gates still protect the central treasure of Levoča and underline the uniqueness of the town.

Spiš Castle and Spišská Kapitula are also essential stops on the treasure road through the Spiš region (19 km).

ONLY A FEW KILOMETRES AWAY

For those who want even more history, we recommend visiting the attractive town of Kežmarok (28 km). The year around Thermal Park in Vrbov will not leave anyone cold even during winter months (22 km).
